Richie Ayres, began playing professionally at the age of 14, & by 18, was opening for acts like Willie Nelson, and engineering and producing in top studios like Record Two in Mendocino California. Taught by top notch engineers and seasoned studio musicians like Johny Barbata,(Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Jefferson Starship) Doobie Brother's Mike Hossack, and Steve Kindler(Rod Stewart, Jeff Beck), about song development, arranging parts, complex vocal harmony, and the fundamentals of quality recording. In 1997, a 2 month trip to Hollywood, turned into a 3 year trip, when the word got around about his abilities as a session guitar player. He also engineered and produced in L.A recording studios like Winslow Court Studios in Hollywood, and Apparatus Studios in the Malibu hills. Now back home in Northern California, Rich is back at it doing what he does best, making quality music.
